As they excitedly anticipate the arrival of their firstborn, our friends Heather and Tracy invited me into their home to photograph the transformation of their daughter’s bedroom. They’ve been busy, busy busy, and if you saw the “before” images of the room I think you’d be quick to high-five them in celebration, because their hard work really paid off. Their newborn is going to come home to an incredibly thoughtful and adaptable space.
I really think you’re going to enjoy browsing through the pictures in today’s post on DIY Network, and I want you to be totally surprised, so I’m not even going to post any pictures of the room. Such a tease. Go check it out for yourself, be inspired by their DIY projects, new furniture, thoughtful decor, and appreciate the necessary repairs that everyone (not only expectant parents) should be aware of. And don’t forget to wish the new parents to-be good luck, they’ll be reading your comments.
P.S. On a totally unrelated note, I insulated my sunroom last weekend and wrote about it in this bonus post for DIY Network. You guys, it worked wonders, my living room has never felt less drafty, and I want to sing about this product from the rooftops. Join me?
