I briefly mentioned in that last post I hung that wreath above the mantle; it was a quick install that was easily something anyone could do with a little wire. A simple, no-cost, and subtle way to get the job done.
Because we had it on hand while we were hanging the 1870 + Mark Twain frames, we snatched a piece of extra wire and made a little DIY hook to subtly attach the wreath to a small brad nail in the wall. This would also work well on a front door, I’m thinking.
It’s not rocket science, but it was a nice quick task. It’s hung, the metal’s completely hidden and the wreath lays flat against the wall. No bulky hangers or hooks to speak of. Hallelujah.
